Field & Logistics Crew

Part-time

You support field crews with setup, teardown and material handling on job sites and operation sites. Ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, the fast pace of deployments, and a different job site every time.

Requirements

• —Good physical fitness, comfortable with lifting and moving material
• —Able to work as part of a team under pressure
• —Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• —Resourceful, solutions-oriented mindset
• —Valid driver's licence (asset)

Field Crew Leader

Full-time

You lead a team of technicians on site, from the morning briefing through final teardown. You're responsible for how the work unfolds, for safety, and for the quality of execution on the ground.

Requirements

• —Proven experience leading field teams (2+ years)
• —Calm leadership, able to make fast decisions
• —Reading plans and coordinating with venue stage managers
• —Knowledge of job-site safety standards
• —French-English bilingualism (strong asset)

Specialized Installer

Full-time

You install our signs, structures, cladding and décor at client sites and event venues. Varied work, sometimes at height, that takes as much precision as physical strength.

Requirements

• —Experience installing signage or décor (ideally 3+ years)
• —Comfortable with hand and power tools
• —Work at height (lift, scaffold — certification an asset)
• —Attention to detail and clean finishing work
• —Valid driver's licence

Delivery Driver

Full-time

You take the road with our material — equipment, structures, signage — to production sites across Quebec and Ontario. You're the link between the workshop and the field.

Requirements

• —Class 5 driver’s licence (Class 3 or 1 a strong asset)
• —Experience driving a truck or trailer
• —Solid cargo handling: straps, load plans, tie-downs
• —Punctuality and independence on the road
• —Able to help with unloading and material handling

Multi-Skilled Technician

Full-time

You do a bit of everything in the KO-LAB workshop: cutting, assembly, finishing, fitting, prototyping. A perfect role for someone who likes learning, varied tasks, and never getting bored.

Requirements

• —Solid basics in woodworking, acrylic and light metal
• —Comfortable with shop tools (saws, sanders, drills, etc.)
• —Able to read simple technical drawings
• —Care and precision in the work
• —Technical curiosity and a willingness to learn

3D Technician

Full-time

You operate our resin and filament 3D printers, from loading files through to finishing the parts. You work closely with the creative team to deliver precise prototypes and small production runs.

Requirements

• —Knowledge of 3D printing principles (FDM and resin)
• —Comfortable with slicing software and STL file prep
• —3D modelling knowledge an asset (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender)
• —Careful finishing work (sanding, post-processing, painting)
• —Organized; able to manage several prints in parallel

Equipment Operator

Full-time

You run our production equipment: laser cutter, CNC, large-format printers. You're the person who turns a file into a deliverable part.

Requirements

• —Experience operating machine tools (laser, CNC or large-format printing)
• —Reading vector files and preparing jobs
• —Feel for materials and settings suited to each medium
• —Preventive maintenance and managing consumables
• —Commitment to shop safety

Project Coordinator

Full-time

You orchestrate how KO-LAB projects unfold: deadlines, resources, client communication. You're the point of contact between the workshop team, the field team and clients.

Requirements

• —Experience coordinating projects (ideally in fabrication or events)
• —Excellent written and verbal communication
• —Organized, able to manage several files in parallel
• —Comfortable with management tools (Excel, Trello or equivalent)
• —French-English bilingualism

Administration & Coordination

Full-time

You support KO-LAB's administration: invoicing, contract follow-up, internal communications, office logistics coordination. A pivotal role that keeps the whole machine running.

Requirements

• —Experience in administration or coordination support
• —Proficient in the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• —Discretion and strong organizational skills
• —French-English bilingualism
• —Basic invoicing or accounting knowledge an asset
